MENOPAUSE FITNESS
Menopause symptoms can be debilitating for so many women.
As we get older, and through the menopause, our metabolisms slow down, which can lead to weight gain. Our muscle mass and bone density also decrease which can lead to osteoporosis (brittle bones).
This class will really boost your metabolism, and put your body into fat burning mode, which can really help maintain a healthy weight as we get older. We'll also tone and sculpt using weights to keep our muscles and bones strong.
Please work at your own level. You don't have to use weights if you're just starting out with these classes. Or grab some hand weights if you'd like the resistance.
EQUIPMENT: Tin cans, or water bottles, or light or heavy weights depending on your fitness level.
LEVEL: Suitable for all, as I give modifications for each exercise.
